Late 1990's Aacme Trains began by doing a few simple custom paint jobs for a couple of select people. After taking a break from Model Railroading for a few years (25 years) I wanted to get back into the hobby, only issue was I enjoyed the build of the locomotives and rolling stock and almost everything now is already assembled. After looking on line I found some older Athearn  (blue box) locomotives and that's when the fun came back.  Now with the blessings of my wife I am back doing projects I absolutely love doing. With a complete shop to work out of I am kit bashing/ custom building locomotives and rolling stock for customers. We are also working on a few very special projects that will be announced soon.
